Thank you for choosing the PrintPeak™ Mini Handheld Inkjet Printer. This manual provides detailed guidance to help you understand and maximize the functionality of your device. Please read the instructions carefully before using the printer.

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Read Carefully: Ensure that you have thoroughly read all instructions before using your handheld printer.
  • Screen Calibration: Calibration is recommended if the printer registers touch inaccurately or the screen is unresponsive. Proper calibration ensures the touch input aligns correctly with your actions, providing a more accurate and responsive experience.
  • Ink Cartridge Care:
    • Cleaning Ink Cartridge: Use the spray provided or acetone to clean the ink cartridge. Dampen dust-free wipes slightly and gently clean the nozzle, focusing on the side that faces the printing area where the ink is released.
    • Installation and Removal: Always turn off the printer before installing or removing the cartridge to avoid damage.
    • Idle Time: Remove the ink cartridge if the printer will not be used for more than 25 minutes and store it properly.
    • Post-Use Storage: Store the cartridge in a dry place using the provided cartridge clip to prevent the ink from drying out.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

  • Printing Distance: Optimal printing distance is between 2mm and 5mm from the surface.
  • Printing Height: Adjustable printing height ranging from 2mm to 12.7mm.
  • Supported Materials: Compatible with carton, stone, medium fiberboard, keel, pipe, metal, plastic, wood, aluminum foil, etc.
  • Fonts: Supports high-definition fonts, dot matrix, solids, hollows, dots, squares, and strikethroughs.
  • Graphics: Allows the use of various trademark patterns and imported graphics.
  • Resolution: Adjustable DPI settings (300/400/600 DPI). Default is 600 DPI.
  • Lines: Adjustable from 1 to 6 lines depending on the model.
  • Printing Direction: Supports printing in all directions (360 degrees).
  • Barcodes: Compatible with barcodes, QR codes, variable QR codes, and one-item codes.
  • Flow Serial Number: Provides 1-8 digit variable sequence numbers.
  • Automatic Printing: Includes options for automatic printing of date, time, batch number, shift, flow number, etc. (customizable).
  • Storage Capacity: Can store over 2000 entries locally.
  • Information Length: Supports entries with more than 2000 characters each.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS

Once you have finalized your print design, follow these steps to print:

  1. Click the Print Button: Confirm your design.
  2. Slide the Printer: Slide the synchronizer across the surface to apply the print.

BASIC PRINTING SETTINGS

Main Interface Overview

  • File:
    • Open, create, or rename files from local storage or USB.
    • Local: Access files saved on the printer.
    • USB: Open files from a connected USB.
    • Find: Search for files by name.
    • New: Create a new file to work on.
    • Rename: Edit the name of the current file.
    • Save: Save the file to local storage.
    • Save As: Save the file under a different name.
  • Add: Add elements like Text, Date, Image, Barcode, Var Barcode, Counter, Form File, New Table, Icon, and Paragraph.

Adding Elements

  • Text: Enter and customize your text with options for Font, Size, Width, Style, Spacing, Rotate, Bold, and Italic.
  • Date: Print the date in various formats (DD/MM/YY, MM/DD/YY, Date & Time) with customizable font and style settings.
  • Image: Import images (max size 250x250 pixels) in PNG, JPG, or BMP format.
  • Barcode: Create barcodes in various formats, such as QRCODE, PDF 417, DATAMATRIX, and more.
  • Var Barcode: Generate variable QR codes with customizable content such as Text, Date, Counter, etc.
  • Counter: Configure counters for sequential numbering.
  • Paragraph: Add paragraph breaks to organize content into multiple printing sessions.

Edit and Printing

  • Edit: Modify any selected element marked with red dots.
  • Delete: Remove the selected element marked with red dots.
  • Start: Begin printing. When the printer is ready, "Waiting..." will appear in red. Hold the printer on the surface, press the red button, and slide your hand from left to right to print. The status will change to "Printing...".

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Power Management: Turn off the printer before plugging or unplugging it. Load and unload the ink cartridge with the printer powered off.
  • Ink Cartridge Care: Cover the ink cartridge with the provided cap to prevent it from drying when not in use.
  • Ink Cartridge Capacity: The cartridge holds 42ml of ink. If empty, the cartridge will not produce sound when shaken.
  • Ink Drying Time: Ink dries in about 3 seconds on plain paper but may take longer on non-absorbent surfaces.
  • Storage Guidelines: Store the printer in a dry, shaded place. Avoid shaking or refrigerating the device.

ALIGNMENT PLATE

For printing on uneven surfaces or small objects like plastic bottles, use the alignment plate to stabilize the printer for accurate printing.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Unclear Font

  • Check Printing Distance: Ensure the printer is 2-5mm from the surface.
  • Check Ink Level: Ensure sufficient ink in the cartridge.
  • Adjust Printer Settings: Fine-tune nozzle settings and inkjet frequency if needed.

Frozen Screen

  • Screen Calibration: If the screen is unresponsive, press the screen with the stylus and turn on the printer to initiate the calibration procedure.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

We offer a 1-year repair warranty from the purchase date. For any quality issues, please pack the product and return it with courier fees collected. Our technical team will test, repair, and return it within 7 working days.

Important: Include the warranty card with the return. The warranty does not cover damage from abuse, improper installation, accidents during shipment, or connection to improper voltage. After the warranty period, we offer repair services at a charge.
